Ofer M. Porat
Ofer Porat graduated from The Technion Institute of Technology in Israel with a degree in Architecture in 1994. He worked as a trainee at offices of KKarc and Dov Chernobroda at Haifa, and became a certified architect at 1996. At that year, Ofer won a couple of architectural competitions that resolved to architectural commissions. That led him to set up his own firm, O. PORAT ARCITECTES that has been his major practice from then after. The firms projects include the Eva and Franz Kohn Science Center (w. Galilee 2004), Bus terminal / Transport Center (Beit Shean 2010), Hacienda entertainment hall (Beit Shean 2014), large residential projects at Kibbutzim, Ramat Gann, Beit Shean, Tel Aviv. The Office had been commissioned projects in the Tourist industry that conclude a large Hotel and touring resorts, Commercial and office buildings.
Ofer teaches architecture at The Technion Institute of Technology, and is involved in the development of improved construction systems and new building methods for the construction business with the collaboration of industry manufactures such as Akerstein in Israel and KMBeta in the Czech Republic.
